Omotesando Koffee opens new outpost at Toranomon Hills.

Named Toranomon Koffee, it has two coffee counters (Omotesando Koffee only has one), one of which is helmed by owner barista Eiichi Kunitomo himself. Flanked by two pristine La Marzocco machines, one counter offers espresso based drinks only while the other also provides brewed coffee.

Opened in June 2014, Toranomon Hills is a new project built by Mori Building in the Toranomon (which means “gate of the tiger”) district. The arterial Loop Road No. 2 (Kanjo Dainigosen) now being completed in front of Toranomon Hills tower aims to become Tokyo’s answer to the Champs-Elysées.

Toranomon Koffee is a good start.
